2020 ART WORKSHOPS RUN BY HEATHER HODGSON, MARGARET WYLLIE AND JENNIFER HALL.

Saturday, 15 February at Bart’s Hall, Orford.  A morning out in the landscape drawing overlooking the River Ore and Orford Ness, and in the afternoon experiment with annealed steel wire to make a relief using the drawings as reference.  Artists: Margaret Wyllie and Jennifer Hall.

 

Saturday, 21 March at Bromeswell Village Hall.  Exploring Still Life; drawing, painting and scraping back to a minimalist and abstract image. Artists: Heather Hodgson and Jennifer Hall. 

 

Saturday, 4 April at Bawdsey Village Hall.  Drawing out in the landscape at Bawdsey Point in the morning, and indoors in the afternoon using the drawings as reference, explore mixed media.  Artists: Heather Hodgson and Jennifer Hall.

 

Saturday, 23 May at Butley Village Hall.  Drawing out in the landscape overlooking Butley Creek and the RSPB reserve at Boyton in the morning, and indoors in the afternoon experimenting with Acrylics and limited colour.  Artists: Heather Hodgson and Jennifer Hall.

 

Saturday, 20 June at Shottesham Village Hall.  Drawing out in the landscape overlooking the Deben River at Ramsholt in the morning, and indoors in the afternoon using the drawings as reference, explore the medium of oil pastels and layering.  Artists: Heather Hodgson and Jennifer Hall.

 

Saturday, 18 July at Bawdsey Village Hall.  Drawing out in the landscape at East Lane, Bawdsey in the morning, and indoors in the afternoon using the drawings as reference, explore the medium of transfer monoprinting.  Artists: Heather Hodgson and Jennifer Hall.

 

Saturday, 15 August at Melton Old Church.  Drawing out in the landscape (amongst the headstones and old trees) in the morning, and indoors in the afternoon using the drawings as reference, explore the medium of watercolour.  Weather permitting we may be able to paint outside.  Artists: Margaret Wyllie and Jennifer Hall.

 

Saturday, 12 September at Butley Village Hall.  Drawing out in the landscape in the reedbeds, Butley Creek in the morning, and indoors in the afternoon using the drawings as reference explore the medium of collage.  Artists: Heather Hodgson and Jennifer Hall.

 

Saturday, 10 October at Aldeburgh Church Hall.  Drawing out in the landscape overlooking the River Alde and the reedbeds in the morning, and indoors in the afternoon using the drawings as reference, explore the medium of mixed media.  Artists: Heather Hodgson and Jennifer Hall.
