Workshops and residencies

In 2005 Jennifer took part in Artstart, an Early Years Arts Education Training Project run jointly by the Essex County Council and the Mercury Theatre, Colchester. The training introduced her to working with nursery, reception and year one children in Nursery and Primary School settings and opened her eyes to the enormous importance of ‘Play’ in the development of children.

The training has also given her a strong base to work with older children within the Primary School setting and ‘Play’ continues to underpin all the processes and themes she works with.
